Common Ground Coffeehouse 
Common Ground Coffeehouse presents soul-gospel-pop singer Kim Trusty on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. A complimentary supper of soup and goodies will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Fun Fridays 
Fun activities after school every Friday at the Island Free Library at 1 p.m. A different activity every week like Legos, Arts and Crafts, Board Games, and STEM projects.

Study Hall 
Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m., the Island Free Library will be holding Power Hours for Scholars. Staff will be on hand to supervise and facilitate research, monitor group projects, and answer basic comprehension questions. Free pizza!

Ecumenical Choir Practice 
The Ecumenical Choir will be having practice for the Thanksgiving Concert every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Church.

Lunch Bunch 
Lunch Bunch is every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Community Center.

Outstanding Owls 
Saw-whet owl banding will be on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. Meet at the parking area for the Second Bluffs on Mohegan Trail. Sponsored by the James Stover Exploration Series.

Bo Gempp Shellfish Fundraiser
The second semi-annual Bo Gempp Memorial Shellfish Restoration Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. at Club Soda.

Prayer Shawl Ministry 
There will be a Prayer Shawl Ministry on Monday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Church.

Caregiver Group 
There is a free Caregiver Support Group meeting every other Tuesday afternoon. The next session will be held on Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. at the Community Center meeting room.

Helping Hands Food Pantry 
Every other Wednesday at the Harbor Church. The next Helping Hands Pantry will be Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Wreath Decorating
Everyone is invited to "Deck the Halls" with the Block Island Gardeners. Come and decorate holiday wreaths for the Island on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the Harbor Church. Bring gardening gloves. As always, we need help distributing the 40 wreaths, including those on telephone poles. Refreshments will be served.

Holiday Craft Class
The Senior Advisory Committee invites you to participate in a craft class to make Gingerbread Girl Christmas Decorations on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. at the Harbor Church. To sign up please contact Gloria Redlich at 401-486-9278.

Ecumenical Choir Concert
There is an Ecumenical Choir Concert of Thanksgiving and Remembrance on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 3 p.m. at the Harbor Church.

Grief Group 
There is a free Grief Support Group every other Tuesday afternoon. The next session will be held on Nov. 21, at 4 p.m. at the Community Center meeting room.

Shopping Stroll
The annual Holiday Shopping Stroll is on Friday, Nov. 24 to Sunday, Nov. 26, at various location around town. Check with the Block Island Chamber of Commerce for participating Stores and Restaurants.

Winter Market
Join us at the Island Free Library for the annual Winter Market on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shop baked goods, crafts, island décor, and other great gift ideas!

It’s That Time Of Year Again
On Saturday, Nov. 25, runners and walkers will line up near Fred Benson State Beach for the start of the 13th Annual Block Island Turkey Trot. The race begins at 1 p.m. Make sure you register early to reserve your t-shirt and if you would like to sponsor the race contact Kathy Szabo at the Chamber Office at 401-466-2474.
