Pat Queally honored by Providence Diocese
The following was sent in by reader Molly O’Neill:
Island resident Pat Queally has been awarded a Lumen Gentium Award by the Diocese of Providence. The Lumen Gentium Awards formally recognize those who work tirelessly in support of the Church in their parishes.
According to O’Neill: “The parish of Saint Andrew, Block Island, is honored to have our own Phyllis "Pat" Queally selected to receive a Lumen Gentium Award this year. Pat is an invaluable member of the Saint Andrew Parish and an enthusiastic member of the Saint Andrew Catholic Ladies Guild.”
Queally was nominated for this award by David and Ann Gray of Center Road.
The award presentation dinner will take place on May 17, 2017 at the Twin Rivers Event Center in Lincoln, R.I.
Tickets are $100 each and can be arranged by calling Saint Andrew Parish at (401) 466-5519.
