NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of New Shoreham Zoning Board of Review will be in session at the Town Hall, Old Town Road on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 5:00 PM for a regular meeting. 
All persons interested will be heard for or against the granting of the following Applications/appeals under the Zoning Ordinances:
    •    Island Enterprises, Inc. Plat 8, Lot 84-6. Appeal of correspondence from the Building Official dated June 6, 2016.

Broadband Information Meeting
Thursday, March 23, 2017
Town Hall, Old Town Road, Block Island
7:00 PM
There will be an informational meeting for the public to learn more about the Island Broadband/Fiber Optic project on Thursday, March 23 at 7:00 PM at Town Hall.  Members of the Town Manager’s Broadband Working Group and representatives from Tilson Technology (the Town’s designer of the Island fiberoptic network) and Crocker Communication (the Internet Service Provider) will be present.  Tilson’s “whitepaper” of frequently asked questions will be discussed.  The whitepaper is on the Town’s website (new-shoreham.com), and copies are at the Library and Town Hall.  Please come to learn more about this project which is anticipated to be a Warrant item to be voted at Financial Town Meeting.

Public Notice
Voter Registration Deadline for Financial Town Meeting
Financial Town Meeting will be Monday, May 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Block Island School, High Street.  In order to participate, you must be registered to vote in New Shoreham on or before Saturday, April 1, 2017.  You may register at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, Old Town Road, Block Island on Monday through Friday 9:00 to 3:00.  On Saturday April 1, 2017 you may register at the New Shoreham Police Station, Beach Avenue, Block Island between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you have questions, contact the Town Clerk’s Office: (401) 466-3200 or townclerk@new-shoreham.com.  Posted: March 19, 2014/FF
