09/26/09 - After nearly six years of dispute, the Champlin’s Marina expansion matter will come before the state’s highest court Tuesday.

The Supreme Court hearing is scheduled for September 29 at 9:30 a.m., 250 Benefit Street, 7th floor, in Providence.

The court will consider appeals by the town, the Committee for the Great Salt Pond, the Conservation Law Foundation, the Block Island Land Trust and the Block Island Conservancy, asking it to overturn a February Superior Court ruling allowing a 3-acre expansion of the Champlin’s Marina.
