This week at the Block Island Medical Center

As part of an integrated community response to the recent on-island suicide, The Block Island Medical Center, The Island Free Library and NAMI-BI are collaborating with health care professionals from Gateway Healthcare to offer FREE individual crisis counseling services and a roundtable community discussion on suicide.  We encourage all community members, first responders, teachers and parents to participate.  The schedule and location of services is listed below:

Free counseling services from Gateway Healthcare will be available at the Medical Center as a part of the zero suicide initiative in Washington County on Thursday October 3rd and Friday October 4th.
Counselors will be available from 9:30-12 and 2-4:30 on Thursday and 9-10 on Friday for anyone who would like to drop by to talk.
