Welcome aboard a 90 minute magical train journey from Woonsocket to the North Pole! Children of all ages will be delighted with the reading of the book “The Polar Express,” a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a holiday sing-a-long, and a special holiday remembrance while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies. Christmas at the Castle
The halls of Smith Castle are decked in period fashion for a celebration of Christmas past. Nibble on home-baked treats, sip hot mulled cider, and enjoy live music from an earlier era. Both days will feature local vendors selling homemade crafts, a book signing and sale by historian Robert A. Geake, and children's activities that include face painting, Christmas cookie decorating, and a craft table. Admission charged.
