Harbor Church Fair & Auction
Harbor Church’s annual Fair and Auction is on Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to noon. A Jazz Brunch will be served from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The Live Auction will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tony’s Treasures and Mystery Gifts start at 9 a.m. Call 466-5940 for information or to volunteer to help.
Barbershop Quartet Festival
The Block Island Barbershop Quartet Festival is on Saturday, July 22, at 8 p.m. at St. Andrew Church on Chapel St. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Mary D. Fund.
Great Salt Pond Stroll

American Legion Picnic
The American Legion Post 36 Annual Picnic is Sunday, July 23, at Legion Park on West Side Rd. from noon to 3 p.m. All welcome. $12 adults, $5 kids, Under 7 and active military free. Barbershop Quartet, kids games, and fun for the whole family.

The Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Fair is on Sunday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the lawn of the Historical Society.
Block Islanders Gardeners Annual Meeting
The Block Islanders Gardeners annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at 3 p.m. at the St Andrew Parish Center. The featured speaker, Ted Ellman, is the author of the recently published “Wildflowers of New England.” Open to the community and refreshments will be served.
There will be Bingo at the BIVFD fire barn on Tuesday, July. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

Historical Society Porch Party
The Historical Society Annual Porch Party Fundraiser is on Saturday, July 29, from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $75 for Adults and $25 for Children. Refreshments and Live music. “Seeking Shelter from the Storm: Daniel Berrigan, William Stringfellow, and Block Island,” an exhibition, runs from July 11 to Oct. 9, at the Island Free Library.

This season the Harbor Church is offering child care and fun activities during the Sunday morning worship service from 10 to 11 a.m. No charge and no reservation required. Two adults stay with the children, one of them certified in babysitting and first aid.
