On The Block
Common Ground Coffeehouse
On Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m., Common Ground Coffeehouse will host the annual Voices from the Village program organized by Nancy Greenaway. Neighbors you might not suspect of reading poetry will present a favorite poem in celebration of National Poetry Month. This tradition from the Block Island Poetry Project is always fun. A complimentary light supper featuring Thai food from the mainland (courtesy of Tom Hobin) and famous cookies from Lisa Sprague will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. We will move to the Harbor Church sanctuary for the poetry.
