Common Ground Coffeehouse

Common Ground Coffeehouse on Friday, May 25, will feature a performance by singer-songwriter Carrie Johnson at 7 p.m. Carrie has been singing since childhood, toured with her sister for years as the band 22 Brides, went solo to have a family and has produced four solo CDs. Her songs cross genres of pop, rock, and country, but are always personal. Carrie will perform a half-set, so that audience members will have time to chat informally with her and her husband Peter Preiser, who has been recommended as the new pastor of Harbor Church. A complimentary supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. and desserts will be available after the music. This event is open to the general public; let's welcome Carrie and Peter to the island!
