On The Block
Common Ground Coffeehouse
Kim Trusty returns to the Common Ground Coffeehouse on Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. with her blend of soul music, jazz singing, and gospel. Providence Journal music writer Rick Massimo wrote, “Trusty’s voice has long been one of Rhode Island’s treasures: Think Tracy Chapman and give her twice the power, twice the silk and three times the range.” A complimentary light supper is served at 6:30, or you can come for coffee and brownies at showtime. No charge, but donations for the musician are encouraged.
