Ms. Morgan’s Pop-Up Storytime will be at McAloon’s Restaurant at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31.

Farmers Market

Farmers Markets will be on Wednesdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at The Spring House, and Saturdays, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at Legion Park for the rest of the summer.

Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Andrew Parish Center, Spring Street, lower level and barn. Then Friday, Sept.14 from 5 to 7 p.m. The last sale will be Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Accepting donations until Sept. 1 at the drop-off box at the Parish Center. Please, no household items.

Saturday, Sept. 1 from 4 to 9 p.m. (Rain Date Sunday, Sept. 2), at Capt. Nick’s. $10 donation at the door. All proceeds directly benefit John Henry Tripler.

Love Knots/Nots

Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. Come hear Block Island notables read short stories about love at the Island Bound Booksore. Voluntary donations benefit the Rescue Squad.

Block Island Gardeners' Edibles Luncheon

The Block Island Gardeners invite the community to their Edibles Luncheon at the Narragansett Inn on Thursday, Sept. 6, at noon. Please bring a lunch dish from your garden (or someone else’s) to share. The lunch will be followed by a program, "Successful pruning of trees and shrubs", presented by David Schwartz, URI Master Gardener, R.I.
