April 26: "Voices from the Village" poetry reading.
The events start at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, all at the Harbor Church.
Pickle Ball

Helping Hands Food Pantry
The next Helping Hands Food Pantry will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Harbor Church.
Arbor Day Community Celebration
The Block Island Gardeners invite the community to the annual Arbor Day celebration on Thursday, April 25 at 8:40 a.m. in front of the Block Island School. Learn about Arbor Day and enjoy the distribution of tree saplings to elementary students. This year’s tree will be Hamamelis virginiana, or common witch-hazel. Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Scholarship
The Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild is accepting applications for the annual art scholarship awards. Graduating high school seniors are eligible. The applications with portfolio should be submitted by May 3, 2019 to either Teri McCombe (401-742-5501) or art teacher Lisa Robb (401-466-5600). Scholarship criteria and applications are available in the Block Island School guidance office.
