The events start at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, all at the Harbor Church.
Pickle Ball

Film & Soup
Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at the Island Free Library, “Smog of the Sea” and “Straws.” Bring a spoon and cup or bowl to share the soup.

Wednesday, May 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the school cafeteria. All are welcome.
Rhode Island Blood Center Blood Drive
Thursday, May 2 at 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Block Island School gym, don’t forget identification when you donate.
NAMI B.I. family support group
Saturday, May 4. NAMI BI family support group meets in Island Free Library Room C, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Anyone with a close friend or family member who is affected by living with mental illness is welcome. Listen, observe, or contribute as you wish, there is no commitment required, just see if the support helps.
Helping Hands Food Pantry
The last Helping Hands Food Pantry will be held on Wednesday, May 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Harbor Church.
Island Free Library Event
Wednesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. 641 Cookbook Club: Bring your favorite dish to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. All are welcome.
Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Scholarship
The Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild is accepting applications for the annual art scholarship awards. Graduating high school seniors are eligible. The applications with portfolio should be submitted by May 3, 2019 to either Teri McCombe (401-742-5501) or art teacher Lisa Robb (401-466-5600). Scholarship criteria and applications are available in the Block Island School guidance office.

Spring is here! Time to clean out your closets! Accepting donations of good, clean used clothing, shoes, hats, and belts starting May 1. Items may be dropped off at the St. Andrew Parish Center, Spring Street (lower level box). Opening sale scheduled for Saturday, June 8. Then every Wednesday starting June 19 throughout the summer.
