Common Ground Summer Concert On Friday Nights
The Harbor Church Summer Concert Series will feature John Fuzek of Rhode Island on the lawn on June 21 at 7 p.m.
The Nature Conservancy & Block Island Conservancy
The TNC and BIC co-sponsor free, guided nature programs on Block Island throughout the year. Together, they offer many different ways to connect to the fields, marshes, and beaches that make the island so exceptional. Check out the advertisement on page 11.

1. YA Movie Night, Saturday June 22 at 7 p.m. “Captain Marvel.” 2. Wii Wednesday, June 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. All ages welcome. 3. Environmental Film Series, June 27 at 7 p.m. “Reinventing Power.” 4. Pop-Up Storytime is back. Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. The first location is the Spring Street Gallery. Children of all ages welcome. 5. Feel Good Circus, Friday, June 28 at 11 a.m. An upbeat circus program that entertains and gets the audience involved.
Dodge Street Nightmarket
Join Dodge Street businesses Thursday evenings for shopping and entertainment offerings geared toward all ages and families. Games, stories, and workshops, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Not New Boutique
Open every Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Andrew Parish Center, Spring Street, lower level and barn. Good clean used clothing, shoes, and hats at great prices! Accepting donations throughout the summer at the drop-off box at the Parish Center. Please no household items.
Farmers Markets will be on Wednesdays, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at The Spring House and Saturdays, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Legion Park for the rest of the summer.
Twilight Walk and Night Sky Viewing
Friday, June 21 at 9 p.m. Meet at Hodge Preserve off Corn Neck Road. In case of poor viewing weather, the program will be the following evening.
NAMI Ted Talk
Saturday, June 22 at the Island Free Library, from 10 to 11 a.m. Watch a TED talk on a topic of interest, then discuss, respond, agree, disagree. All welcome. Presented by NAMI BI.
Arts and Crafts Guild Fair
Sunday, June 23 and Monday, July 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Fair will be held on the lawn of The Historical Society.
School Garden Workday
The Block Island Gardeners invite B.I. School students, their parents, and interested gardeners to help maintain the Block Island School garden, on Tuesday, June 25, from 9 to 11 a.m. Bring your own garden tools and gloves, and donate as much time as is convenient. SoundWaves Movie Night
Tuesday, June 25. The movie is “Almost Famous” and will be playing at the Fred Benson Town Beach Pavilion starting at 8 p.m.
Gardeners’ Visit to Succotash Farm
The Block Island Gardeners are hosting a community event, “Visit to Succotash Farm” on Wednesday, June 26 (rain date June 27), at 4 pm on Mitchell Lane. Join the Gardeners to view the extensive fields of fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs that supply the B.I. Farmers Market. The event is free and light refreshments will be served. Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks
The Double Ender Committee is proud to present this year’s fireworks display and Fourth of July parade. The Fireworks will be held at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3. The parade will be held on Thursday, July 4 and will step off at 11 a.m. at Legion Park. This year’s theme is “Your Favorite TV Show.” Anyone interested in participating in the parade with a float should meet in front of The Oar at 9:30 a.m. the day of the parade.
