NAMI BI Family Support Group
Saturday, Aug. 3 in the Island Free Library Room C, from 10 to 11.30 a.m. Anyone with a close friend or family member who is affected by living with mental illness is welcome. No commitment required, just see if the support helps.

5k Family Fun Run/Walk
The National Alliance on Mental Illness-B.I. and the Block Island Medical Center are sponsoring a beach run or walk on Sunday, Aug. 4 at the Beach Pavilion. Register in advance at RunSignup.com or the day of the race. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., race starts at 10:30 a.m. Pets welcome.

The Mary D. Ball
The 25th annual Mary D. Ball will be held at The Sullivan House on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. It’s a family friendly event, put your dancing shoes on and come to the ball.
“Jaws” On The Water
