Movie and a Meal Returns to Harbor Church

A series of inspiring true-life adventures every Friday night. Dinner at 6:30 p.m. and film at 7 p.m.

Nov. 1 -  “The Way Back.” Seven prisoners escape a brutal Siberian gulag to begin a treacherous 4,500 mile trek to freedom across the world's most merciless landscapes.

Nov. 8 -  “Homeward Bound.” The incredible journey of three pets who are lost in the Canadian wilderness and find their way back home.

Senior Ride Service Up and Running

The Senior Advisory Committee has re-started the Senior Ride Service for island seniors, persons with special needs, and caregivers without transportation. The cost is $3 per round trip. NAMI-BI Support Group

Saturday, Nov. 2, NAMI-BI Family Support Group will meet at the Island Free Library, Room C, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Anyone with a close friend or family member who is affected by living with mental illness is welcome. Anyone can attend and listen or speak as they wish.

Lunch Bunch Every Tuesday

Block Island Ecumenical Choir

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Church. Rehearsals for the fall concert. All who love to sing are welcome to join.

Block Island Turkey Trot In Memory of Michael Coords

Get Ready to run or walk off your Thanksgiving Feast with the annual 5K Turkey Trot on Saturday, Nov. 30. The race kicks off at noon at the Fred Benson Town Beach. Register early to reserve your race t-shirt. Online registration is available at active.com.
