PUBLIC NOTICE
EARLY VOTING
A polling place is open at Town Hall
from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday until Election Day. Voters
registered in New Shoreham should bring
their driver’s license and wear a mask.
We’ve had over 100 voters with no lines or
waiting. You may not vote at Town Hall if
you’ve applied for a mail ballot.
If you’ve applied for a mail ballot and
want to avoid possible mail delays, use the
ballot box outside Town Hall to return your
voted ballot. Be sure you use both envelopes provided with your mail ballot. As
an official ballot drop-off location, we will
accept mail ballots up until 8:00 PM on
Election Day, November 3, 2020.
If you can’t leave your home, it’s not
too late to get an emergency ballot to vote
at home. We will be able to issue the ballot from Town Hall and you can designate
someone to deliver it to you. Please call us
at (401) 466-3200 as soon as possible for
details.
Polls will be open at the Block Island
School on Election Day! Vote in the
gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wear your mask and bring your driver’s
