REQUEST FOR BIDS
Sale of surplus equipment- 2001
Dodge Ram pickup truck, 50,588 miles.
Vehicle does not run, leaks gas, along
with other unknown issues. Vehicle will
be sold as is with no warranties. Vehicle
must be removed within seven days of bid
acceptance.
Sealed bids will be received in the
Office of the Town Manager, P.O. Box
220, Block Island, RI 02807 until 1:00
p.m. (Local Time) on November 23, 2020
and then at said office publicly opened
and read aloud.
Award shall be made on the basis of
the highest evaluated or best responsive
bid price. Please note that no bids can be
accepted via email or fax.

INVITATION TO BID
The New Shoreham Sewer District is seeking sealed bid proposals for:
The Removal and Installation of the Service
Building Garage Doors at the New Shoreham
Water Pollution Control Facility
Specifications are available by calling the
Sewer and Water District Office at (401)466-
3231, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00
p.m., or emailing sewer@new-shoreham.com.
Sealed bid proposals will be received in the
Sewer and Water District Office located at 20
Spring St., Block Island, RI 02807 until 1:00
PM local time on Monday, November 23, 2020
at which time they will be publicly opened
and read aloud. All bids are to be submitted
in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the
above-noted proposal on the outside and with
the bidder’s name and address.
If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope
containing the Bid must be enclosed in another
outer envelope addressed to: New Shoreham
Sewer Commission, at PO Box 774, Block
Island, RI 02807.
The Sewer Commission reserves the right to
reject any and all bids deemed to be not in the
best interest of the Sewer District. The Sewer
Commission reserves the right to reject any bid
not submitted in accordance with the provisions
set forth herein and may waive any informalities and all bids. Conditional bids will not be
accepted. The Sewer Commission accepts the
most responsive submission does not obligate
itself to accept the lowest bid.
