Call to Order
After presentations by the Applicant,
members of the Public will be allowed 2
opportunities to speak on Agenda items. The
Chair will ask if anyone from the Public has
questions of the Applicant in an attempt to
understand the project. After questions are
closed, the Chair will ask if anyone from
the Public has comments. Members of the
Public will have up to 3 minutes per person
to comment. Comments should be limited to
the exterior design of the building and site.
Comments will not be allowed as to the interior design or use of the project, etc. Thank
you for participating.

PUBLIC NOTICE
BLOCK ISLAND LAND TRUST
INVITATION TO BID
The Block Island Land Trust is soliciting bids for regular maintenance of its
properties. This bid is for mowing and
hand clearing Land Trust properties for
the period from January 1, 2021 through
December 31, 2021. Bids for regular
maintenance will be solicited only once per
year. Bid packets and maps are available
upon request from the Block Island Land
Trust. Please contact Heidi Tarbox at 860-

com.
Deadline: BIDS will be received by the
Block Island Land Trust until 2:00 p.m.
local time on Friday, December 4, 2020.
All BIDS must be made on the required
BID PROPOSAL form. Bids will be
opened and read aloud at the December 7,
2020 Land Trust meeting at 4:00 p.m., via
Remote Access. Bids may be awarded at
that time. The Land Trust reserves the right
to reject any and all bids.
Insurance: Contractors are required to
carry liability insurance: $1,000,000.00
for each occurrence, $2,000,000.00 general
aggregate. Proof of current insurance
must be on file with the Land Trust or
supplied with bid.

INVITATION TO BID
The New Shoreham Sewer District is
seeking sealed bid proposals for:
The Removal and Installation of the
Service Building Garage Doors at the
New Shoreham Water Pollution Control
Facility
Specifications are available by calling
the Sewer and Water District Office at
(401)466-3231, between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 3:00 p.m., or emailing sewer@
new-shoreham.com. Sealed bid proposals
will be received in the Sewer and Water
District Office located at 20 Spring St.,
Block Island, RI 02807 until 1:00 p.m.
local time on Monday, November 23,
2020 at which time they will be publicly
opened and read aloud. All bids are to be
submitted in a sealed envelope clearly
marked with the above-noted proposal on
the outside and with the bidder’s name and
address.
If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed
in another outer envelope addressed to:
New Shoreham Sewer Commission, at PO
Box 774, Block Island, RI 02807.
The Sewer Commission reserves the
right to reject any and all bids deemed to
be not in the best interest of the Sewer
District. The Sewer Commission reserves
the right to reject any bid not submitted in
accordance with the provisions set forth
herein and may waive any informalities
and all bids. Conditional bids will not be
accepted. The Sewer Commission accepts
the most responsive submission does not
obligate itself to accept the lowest bid.
