Library shares update on Outside Library Hours
The following update was issued on behalf of the Island Free Library:
Outside Library Hours will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be no hours on Saturday, July 4th.
During Outside Library Hours our staff will be available to assist you with borrowing library materials as well as printing, scanning, faxing and copying your documents. There will also be limited use of public computers and notary services.
Ms. Morgan is at the Kids Garden take-out window during Outside Library Hours (around back). She is launching our Summer Reading Program this week and ready to send you home with plenty to read to get everyone in your household started!
Material requests and document tasks can be emailed in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org. We have recorded this video to assist you in navigating the on-line card catalog. The link to the video can be found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tz6UAECqP
We are pleased to partner with the Senior Advisory Committee in offering the continuation of both the Memoir Group and Book Group through zoom as well as many Virtual Programs on our YouTube channel.
While the library building itself remains closed we hope that we can provide useful and necessary library services through our Outside Library Program and both educational and entertaining programs with the virtual connections. We will be assessing this program as well as your library needs to make future adjustments.
Mask up and come check something out!
