The New Shoreham Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider amending New Shoreham’s Revised General Ordinances Chapter 19 Utilities, Article III Water District Division 2 - Established; Section 19-241 – Plat and lot listing - to add property.
Property to be added to the Water District is:

The Town Council will hold a public hearing on the foregoing at the time and place above, when all persons for or against may be heard and the Town Council may act on this proposal and/or amendments hereto.

BLOCK ISLAND LAND TRUST
MOWING and HAND CLEARING
INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS
The Block Island Land Trust is soliciting bids for regular maintenance of its properties. This bid is for mowing and hand clearing Land Trust properties for the period from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017. Bids for regular maintenance will be solicited only once per year. Bid packets and maps are available upon request from the Block Island Land Trust. Please contact Heidi Tarbox at 860-468-0145 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
BIDS will be received by the Block Island Land Trust until 12:30 pm local time on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the December 15, 2016 Land Trust meeting at 4:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, Old Town Road, Block Island.
All BIDS must be made on the required BID PROPOSAL form. All blank spaces for BID prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, and the BID form must be fully completed and executed when submitted. Only one copy of the BID form is required. Proof of insurance must be provided.
Bids must contain a total job price rather than an hourly rate. The outside of the bid envelope must clearly state “Land Trust Bid Proposal.”
Insurance: Contractors are required to carry liability insurance: $1,000,000.00 for each occurrence, $2,000,000.00 general aggregate. Proof of this insurance must be supplied to the Land Trust with bid.
