The Town of New Shoreham is encouraging residents to enroll in the CodeRED emergency notification service.

CodeRED is a high-speed mass notification system allowing city and town officials to send emergency alerts by phone, email, and/or text to local citizens. Registered citizens may also opt to receive general non-emergency notifications.

There are three ways to register for notifications:

1. Using your internet browser, visit public.coderedweb.com/CNE/en-US/ BF49FD5011A4. Refer to the CodeRED Online Registration Flyer for detailed instructions.

2. Text BLOCKISLAND to 99411 and follow the prompts.

3. If you do not have a Smartphone or access to the internet, contact the Town Manager’s office at (401) 466- 3213.
