Common Ground Event
Friday, Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Church. An intimate evening of original live music with Julia Davis, of the Clive Davis Institute of Music at NYU. Supper at 6:30 p.m. Dessert and coffee to accompany the program at 7 p.m.
Ecumenical Choir Practice
There will be Ecumenical Choir Practice for the Easter Concert every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Church beginning Jan. 15.
Lunch Bunch, Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. at the Community Center.
Island Free Library Events
- Saturday, Jan. 12 – Jan. 13 Lock In, arrive at 6 p.m. on Saturday and leave at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. Kids grades 4-6 are welcome to join.
- Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. Family Night at the library will be Master Chef Jr. Bring the family for a night of cooking easy snacks and recipes. All supplies provided and all are welcome.
- Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. 641 Cookbook Club will have a night of hors d’oeurves. Stop by the library for more information.
Helping Hands Food Pantry
The next Helping Hands Food Pantry will be Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Harbor Church.
Learn to Weave
The Spring St. Gallery will be hosting an introduction to weaving on a floor loom class on Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday Jan. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. Please contact Paige Gaffett at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot.
BIYC Maritime Scholarship
Applications for the B.I. Yacht Club Maritime Scholarship will be accepted until Feb. 1, 2019. Graduates of the Block Island School who intend to pursue maritime careers, and are currently enrolled in a college undergraduate maritime program, are eligible.
